Students challenge campus protest ban

Matthew Burgess reports for Forge Press on new changes to a ban on campus protests implemented by the University of Sheffield:

Protesters have successfully challenged a court order that banned all on campus protests at the University of Sheffield without permission of the University beforehand.

An injunction, which was issued on Friday, was changed  following representations made to the court by protesters occupying the Arts Tower lecture theatre 4… Changes made to the injunction now state the University will not “unreasonably” withhold permission to protest in any of the buildings owned by the University.
