Pearson is taking applications for its summer internship programme – which includes 12-week paid placements at the Financial Times.
The scheme is only open to UK students or graduates from a visible ethnic minority. You must also be a final year student or graduate with a 2:1 (or predicted 2:1) degree.
The placement includes working in the FT’s editorial department and its associated publications on rotation. You will be paid £1,100 a month (before tax) and get a holiday allowance. The scheme provides training and support throughout and encourages interns to socialise with each other.
To apply, you will need to write a 300 word article written on any business, finance, or political topic in the style of the Financial Times, as well as sending a CV and cover letter. Competition for positions is fierce and Pearson has very strict guidelines on how to apply – follow them to the letter or you will be instantly rejected.
Deadline March 31. Full details and apply here.
