The London Library Student Prize winners announced

The London Library logoThe London Library Student Prize – which OTW featured earlier this year – has announced the winner is Ben Mason, a final year Philosophy and German student from the University of Oxford.

Entrants submitted an 800-word piece responding to the statement: “The future of Britain lies with the right-hand side of the brain.”

Ben wins £5,000 and a mini-internship at The Times, as well as a year’s subscription to the paper and a year’s membership of The London Library.

The runners-up, who all get the chance to do work experience at The Times and the subscription and library membership, are Caroline Criado-Perez, University of Oxford; Sylvia Christie, University of Cambridge; and Andrew McCormack, University of Oxford.
