This year’s Mind Media Awards have opened and as usual the charity is giving students the chance to submit their work on mental health in the Mind Student Journalist of the Year category.
Articles should be on mental health, emotional distress and/or mental wellbeing and be challenging but responsible. Full details on what is applicable are available here.
Students can submit a range of broadcast, print or on-line content which they feel reflects their body of work reporting on mental health issues. All material must have been published or aired between 1 September 2011 and 7 June 2012.
You can nominate yourself or get your editor to suggest you. The closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday 13 July 2012.
