Liam Burns has been re-elected as president of the National Union of Students (NUS), beating his nearest rival by almost 100 votes.

The Scot was re-elected at the union’s national conference in Sheffield City Hall and received 387 votes in a final round run-off with Ed Marsh, who received 295 votes…
