The NUS Awards 2012 nominations have been announced and University of Sheffield-based newspaper Forge Press is leading the way with three nominations: one for Best Student Media and two for Student Journalist of the Year for Nicholas Carding and David Parker.
University of York papers have also done well, with York Vision picking up a Best Student Media nomination, and Vision editor Oliver Todd and rival paper Nouse both getting special commendations.
